Guidelines for Submitting Artwork to Devin Galleries

Thank you for your interest in Devin Galleries as a potential venue for representing your artwork. Due to the large volume of artist submissions received, we request that you adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your work to us. Devin Galleries accepts submissions year-round and we review/jury artist packages several times a year. Artist contract and terms of consignment are discussed upon acceptance.

VIA EMAIL (Preferred Format)

  1. Send a link to a web site. Please DO NOT ATTACH IMAGES (other than a couple small thumbnails), unless you have received permission from the gallery to do so.
  2. EMAIL TO: ContactUs@DevinGalleries.com

VIA MAIL

  1. Please include approximately 10 – 20 slides and/or photographs of recent pieces that best demonstrates the range and variety of your work. Include titles, dimensions and medium.
  2. A price list for your work by size or list prices on the individual slides or photos.
  3. A cover letter, resume and any additional support material that you feel would be important for us to consider. Feel free to include an artist’s statement if you have one.
  4. Digital images on CD are acceptable if supplied in JPEG format. Please include several images printed on high quality photograph paper.
  5. If you wish to have your package returned, you MUST include a self-addressed, stamped envelope; otherwise we cannot return submission packages. The gallery accepts no responsibility for inadequate return postage.
  6. If you DO NOT include a self-addressed, stamped envelope, we will assume that you do not want your portfolio returned and we will keep your portfolio on file for future consideration.
  7. Please do not send original or irreplaceable artwork.
  8. If you have website please include the address in your package.

IN-PERSON DELIVERY

  1. In-person delivery of submission packages is allowed with the understanding that packages are not reviewed at time of drop-off.
  2. Please DO NOT bring in artwork at the time you deliver your package. Actual art will only be reviewed if an appointment has been made specifically by the gallery director.
